How Do I Get Involved?
Do you have a natural gift for electronics, sound or video equipment? Or maybe you just have a strong desire to learn, along with a passion to serve the body of Christ?
There are many opportunities for you to serve in the Media ministry. Light & Life West staff is here to help you learn what you’ll need to know and have fun in the process!
We are looking for those who desire to continue to learn, who are team players, and most of all are committed to their ministry.
It does not mean you have to start out knowing anything about A/V, just be willing to learn and a willingness to be lead. Volunteers will be trained for any specific technological skill or knowledge required for the ministry responsibilities, so the only prerequisite to volunteering is a willingness to learn and comfort in handling and using technological devices and equipment.
Available Positions are:
Video Camera Operators
The camera operator works behind the camera during services and acts as the eyes of the Producer. The producer will communicate vision for how services should be captured on camera.
Audio Engineer
The audio engineer controls the volume levels and settings for all mics, instruments, videos and tracks used on the
stage by mixing on the sound board.
Visual Technician
The visual technician works on a computer to display song lyrics, announcements, graphics and videos. This is accomplished through an easy to use software called Pro-presenter.
Church Online Team
You can join the web team as a host or by contributing to content by using your writing, editing or photography skills. This team also provides content and maintenance for our Social Media accounts.
