Youth
The Youth at Long Beach Light & Life West (a.k.a. Legacy) are committed to living with an eternal perspective in mind.  We strive to impact the future by leaving a legacy of God’s Love.  L.E.G.A.C.Y. is an acronym for Living Eternally Grateful As Christian Youth.  As a group, we would like to be remembered by the character and identity that defines us as Christ’s Ambassadors.  Not only are we seeing more students regularly attending on Sundays there is excitement about attending our mid-week small discipleship groups.  It is evident that our youth are ready to make a difference in our community by ordering their steps in the way of the Lord’s Word.

Though are focus is on the future, we still love to fellowship and enjoy the present through activities and events.  Before the end of the year we will be hosting a movie night, performing a dance and drama in a special Christmas service, and bringing in the New Year together.  Our biggest and most exciting event coming up is our Winter Camp, which will be at Pine Summit Conference Center in Big Bear this year on the weekend following Valentines Day.  Please keep these events in your prayers as our youth experience God in special ways through inspiration, service, and commitment. 

Rejoice with us as students are making decisions for Christ, requesting to be baptized, and are serving along side each other joyfully.  We would also love to extend an invitation to anyone reading this to join our family as we encourage and lift up each other in grace and love.
